TUF 10 Scenarios: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

TUF_10_promo

Wow, only three episodes in and this season of TUF has been interesting to say the least. Sure the fighters are literally getting gassed after two punches and the three fights we HAVE seen have wanted to bore us to tears, but luckily the anticipation caused from previews and gripping storyline of this season is more than enough to pick up the slack of the lack luster fight performances we have seen so far from these heavyweights. In this article I am going to break down the good, bad, and ugly scenarios that can happen in the remainder of the tenth season of TUF. Let’s start with the good shall we?

The Good – Citing a bad knee and all around health concerns, Marcus Jones pulls himself from the competition even after showing great promise in training sessions. Marcus picks Kimbo as his replacement. Rampage’s team finally get’s it’s first victory in a non-Kimbo match to regain control. Not wanting to let Rashad pick a hard opponent for Kimbo, Rampage strikes first by placing Kimbo up against former NFL player Brendan Schaub. Kimbo defeats Brendan by knockout to advance further into the tournament. Team Rampage comes back with another win after that to make 3 wins in a row, finishing the first round at 4-4. Elimination continues until the four remaining fighters are Kimbo, Big Country, McSweeney, and Wes Sims. Roy defeats Sims and Kimbo defeats McSweeney to set up an epic rematch at TUF 10 finale.

The Bad – Marcus Jones is still healthy to fight locking away the biggest chance for Kimbo to get back into the game. Marcus wins his match to regain control for Team Rampage, however through another bad pick Rashad regains control and the first round ends with Team Rampage only able to win 2 matches, leading into the quarter finals seriously out numbered and out matched. The tournament ends with the final four being Sims, Nelson, McSweeney, and Madsen. Sims is eliminated leading to a final match up of two Team Rashad members Nelson and Madsen. Nelson wins the tenth season of TUF, but we get a little bit of silver lining with a bulk of the members from Team Rampage winning their second matches on the TUF 10 finale.

The Ugly – Kimbo doesn’t get back in, Team Rashad clean sweeps the first round, and Roy Nelson crucifix’s his way all the way to winning the tournament. TUF fans everywhere fall asleep in their chairs.
